Senegalese startup SYRATE took part in the NEXTEN Summit 2025, a major international event dedicated to emerging technologies — artificial intelligence, blockchain and digital transformation. The summit ran from December 3 to 5, 2025 in Dakar, at the King Fahd Palace, and drew more than 5,000 participants from over 40 countries, including startups, investors and decision-makers.

The NEXTEN Summit is one of the continent’s major technology gatherings, bringing together entrepreneurs, experts, governments and investors to explore how new technologies can accelerate economic development and innovation across Africa. The event aims to position Dakar as a regional hub for technological innovation.

SYRATE presents its AI vision for intelligent security

At the summit, SYRATE presented its intelligent video analysis solutions — a platform that transforms existing cameras into intelligent systems that detect, understand and act automatically in real time. The platform enables intrusion detection, analysis of suspicious behaviors, detection of PPE non-compliance in industrial environments, intelligent infrastructure surveillance, and improved security in cities and at major events.
